Overview

Though internet scouting has become an invaluable tool, there is no replacement for boots on the ground scouting. In this chapter the THP crew will cover what they are looking for and how they break down a piece of property when they have the chance to put boot leather on it.

With boots on the ground comes trail cameras. The THP crew have some unique insights and outlooks on using trail cameras, such as short and long term trail camera strategies, using past trail camera data, and even using trail cameras to monitor other hunters of public ground or to learn exactly when a farmer starts to harvest crops.
