FAQs

What is the offer?

Eligible onX Hunt subscribers can enjoy a complimentary six months of onX Fish and/or TroutRoutes.

Who is eligible?

All current onX Hunt paid subscribers. Customers that have an existing onX Fish or TroutRoutes membership or have had one in the 12 months prior to activation are not eligible for a complimentary offer on the same onX App.

How do I redeem the offer?

Log in using your onX account information and select which product you want.

Can I get both onX Fish and TroutRoutes?

Yes! After you’ve activated the offer on the first product, go back and go through the same activation process for the other one.

What happens after the 6-month free trial?

For a seamless customer experience, the onX membership will be automatically renewed. Credit card activation is required, and there is no charge if a customer chooses to cancel their membership before the renewal date. See onX Terms of Use for more information on memberships.

How do I sign up for my free 6 months of onX Fish or TroutRoutes?

Activating your membership is simple:

  • Visit the Promo Page: Go to onxmaps.com/member-deal.
  • Sign In: Log in to your onX account (or create a new one).
  • Select & Activate: Choose the onX App you want to use first.
I’m at the website but it’s asking me for a credit card. Is it still free?

Yes! The first 6 months are complimentary. A credit card is required by onX to activate the trial offer, but you will not be charged today. You can manage your auto-renewal settings to cancel the recurring plan in your onX profile at any time. See onX Terms of Use for more information on memberships.

What happens to my data (Waypoints, Tracks, Offline Maps, etc.) after the 6 months is over?

All your data is saved to your onX account. If you choose not to renew, your account will revert to a “Basic” (free) version, but your saved Waypoints and Tracks will remain there for when you decide to activate a paid plan.

Does this work with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?

Both onX Fish and TroutRoutes work with Apple CarPlay and onX Fish also works with Android Auto. TroutRoutes currently does not work with Android Auto, but stay tuned!
