The Trail Revival Project – Powered by Toyota
Offroad trails don’t maintain themselves, that’s why onX Offroad and Toyota teamed up for the Trail Revival Project, a nationwide effort to help restore and protect our public land access. In 2026, we’re tackling 24 trail restoration projects together across the country by providing funding and on-the-ground support to help keep these trails open.
In 2025, Trail Revival Project made a big impact:

Toyota drivers get after it, whether they’re chasing big game or powder days, and onX is the perfect tool to connect them to new adventures. Eligible Toyota owners get six months of complimentary access to the highest tier of the four onX Apps, plus TroutRoutes.
Now through 2028, U.S. Toyota customers with 2026 model year or newer Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, or Lexus LX and GX vehicles can get all five Apps free for six months. Customers who have had a top-tier onX membership in the previous 12 months are not eligible for the complimentary offer on that app.
Yes! Most of the Apps offer seamless in-dash functionality via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (TroutRoutes is Apple CarPlay compatible only and onX Backcountry doesn’t offer in-dash use). This allows you to use the App in your vehicle’s screen to easily follow routes, investigate access or points of interest along the way, and view your plan outside of cell service with Offline Maps.

onX Hunt: The gold standard in hunting apps, you’ve got powerful tools for scouting and in-field navigation in your pocket, whether you’re using Deer Movement Forecast to time your whitetail sit or using private land details and recent satellite imagery to plan access for a Western big game hunt..
onX Backcountry: Pop your App into the right mode for your adventure—Hike, Climb, Mountain Bike, or Ski Touring—and leverage features from 3D maps (including offline) to powerful avalanche risk assessment tools like the Avalanche Terrain Exposure Scale (ATES).
