The idea for Tredder was born on the trail. Cofounder David De Jesus remembers, “I was having trouble getting insurance for the full value of my truck. So, out on a trip, I was asking how everyone else was doing it and none of the answers were straightforward.” Insurance for modifications isn’t the first thing that most people think of when they consider how they’ll upgrade their truck. “We always talk about insurance like it’s magic,” said Cofounder Jason Wootton, “When it works the way it should, it seems to do the impossible. It’s the final upgrade for your truck or van.”
