About Merus Adventure

This West Texas off-road park near the second largest system of canyons in the U.S., Palo Duro Canyon, is only 45 miles southeast of Amarillo and within a five-hour drive of Oklahoma City and Albuquerque. The park encompasses nearly 5,500 acres of diverse, colorful terrain with red dirt, sandstone, clay, and other materials from four unique geological periods. Designed for 4x4s and overlanding enthusiasts, trails range from beginner to expert, with something for all skill levels. 

Merus Adventure offers a variety of accommodations, including tent camping, RV sites, cabins, and dedicated overlanding areas. Visitors can also enjoy mountain bike trails, hiking, guided tours, and overlanding challenges. There’s even an off-road academy where drivers can learn new skills, driving techniques, and recovery methods.
