Trail Overview
This 2-mile segment of Guys Trail is the easiest segment of Guys Trail. The east end starts at a pinch point off Crystal Geyser Road. It goes through a flat desert terrain of bentonite grey soil under some powerlines. There are lots of ravine crossings that come up suddenly and dip down several feet like a big G-out that you have to watch out for. There are a few trail markers throughout this segment to help follow the track. The trail dips into a fun narrow wash for a moment between dirt walls and has a short climb out of the ravine. Be ready for lots of whoops on the trail. It also crosses several huge wide washes. There's a pinch point on the west end of the trail when it ends on another segment of Crystal Geyser Road.

Difficulty
This is a 2 difficulty because much of the trail is flat and easy with no obstacles, except for many big dips into ravines that you have to watch out for because they come up suddenly.
