Trail Overview
Just 3 miles west of Big Lake in southern Sevier County, Utah, you find Annabella Reservoir and Deep Lake. The trail goes through private land, but access is permitted if one stays on the trail. This is a good road, with room for two vehicles to meet in most places, and it goes through some beautiful scenery. The wildflowers are in full bloom, and we found a doe near the trail. Annabella Reservoir is a good place to fish for Rainbow Trout. Its southern neighbor, Deep Lake, is known to have these species of fish: perch, largemouth bass, bowfin, northern pike, warmouth, bream/bluegill, pumpkinseed, brown trout, rock bass, and rainbow trout. This is a dead-end trail, and the only exit is back out on the public road you came in on. Hiking in this area is wonderful, as is the off-roading and fishing.
