Gravel road, easy ride out to viewpoint. Road ends in a large open area where it circles around to return. 3 miles one-way, from the parking at the intersection with the South Huckleberry trails staging.

Access Description

From Kettle Falls, proceed west on Hwy 395, across Columbia River Bridge. Turn left on Hwy 20, proceed for 7.7 miles. Turn left on Bangs Mountain Rd/Canyon Creek Campground. Proceed 1/4 mile, look for wide parking area in the grass to the left. Alternate parking is 2.0 miles up Bangs Mtn Rd. Watch for intersection to the right. Parking area off the left side of Bangs Mtn Rd. for a few vehicles, or turn right to proceed up to S. Huckleberry Trailhead. Parking area on the right. May be muddy.
