Trail Overview
This trail has amazing views of the Swan Valley. It is not for the faint of heart ,as it is very narrow when you actually reach Red Ridge. But the views are more than worth it. This trail is accessible from the Fall Creek Road area just outside of Swan Valley off Hwy 26, just prior to crossing the bridge. The trail comes out just outside of Calamity Campground by Palisades Reservoir. There are some serious switchbacks at the beginning and end of the trail. There is a mix of single-track and double-track trail, but is not accessible the whole way by 50" or less vehicles. The trail can be looped through other trail systems or works great as a out-and-back trail

Difficulty
There are a lot of switchbacks as you ascend and descend the ridge. There is also a potential for snow late in the year. Pay attention to snowpack, as you could get stranded.
