Trail Overview

Girard Road is a gravel road that passes by the Sugar Creek Multi-Use West Trailhead. This road is a maintained gravel road that is dusty when dry and can be messy when wet. Take Wilson Road south to the Sugar Creek Trailhead. The Sugar Creek Multi-Use Trail is a network of looping trails that winds over various types of terrain and through a variety of tree types. Rides range from moderately easy to more difficult. Connecting loops offer users an opportunity to explore exciting outdoor opportunities. Open year-round, this area offers 37 miles of hard-packed and rocky ATV trails. There are several creek crossings available during dry weather. No fee is charged for parking or the trails. No overnight parking is allowed in the staging area.

Access Description

From State Highway 23 take Highway 116 East of County Road 19. Turn south for 8 miles to Knoppers Ford Recreation Area. Go south, past Knoppers Ford for 1/2 mile to Road S30, and turn left. Go approximately 1- 1/4 miles to the trailhead parking area.
