Trail Overview
AOP 1 - Launchpad begins with a fine dirt-filled trail with a slight uphill climb. Once you make it to Area 51, there is lots of loose rock that makes you feel like you're driving on a cobblestone road. From this point on, the trail features hard-packed dirt, with scattered shallow mud holes. At the end of Trail 1, there is a split from Trail 18 and Trail 50. While Trail 1 is on the easy spectrum, this section of the park features some of the most difficult off-roading the park has to offer, and makes sure you know it with signs that state "If it is wet, no ATV, SXS, or small tire vehicles past this point". This is stated as the park has no form of recovery team, nor can towing companies get you out of this section- Enter at your own risk. Most of Trail 1 has markers on the trees with green paint. Once you hit the intersection of Trail 1 and Trail 3, keep to the left to complete it from start to finish.

Difficulty
While this trail is hard-packed and wide enough to pass in most spots, ground clearance could be a problem for most 2WD vehicles. All obstacles are under 12" or any that are larger can be driven around.
