Trail Overview
This is the general route through the Sierra Juarez mountains in Baja, California that accesses Laguna Hanson and the Parque Nacional Constitucion de 1857. This is a relatively easy dirt road but can get muddy and challenging after heavy rain or snow (yes, it snows in Baja!). There are numerous ranches offering camping and/or cabin rentals along this route. Rudimentary camping is also available in the national park. Be aware that the increased traffic (especially by the UTV crowd) has some ranchers upset and installing locked gates. This main route should remain open, but many of the alternate routes in the network of trails here are beginning to be locked down. Explore, but be respectful of private property.
