Trail Overview
Devil's Head Spur is an easy ATV trail in the Rampart Range Recreation Area that connects the Beginner ATV Trail to the Dutch Fred ATV Trail. This trail is a wide two-track that steadily loses 300 feet of elevation over 1.1 miles as it rides southwest to northeast, but it is mostly flat. The trail has several whoops that aren't too bad and it has no obstacles. It goes through a pine tree forest around 8,500 feet of elevation and goes next to some rock slabs lining the trail. This is a short connector trail or a good beginner trail to ride after #627. The Devil's Head Campground and hiking trailhead for the Devil's Head Lookout Tower are just south of this trail.
