Trail Overview

FS 5011 is a primarily sandy and rocky trail that traverses the Manistee National Forest. This trail has many mud holes that can range up to 20 inches deep depending on recent rainfall. There are a few mud holes with bypasses around them. These bypasses are still very muddy and can be slick. Additionally, there are some tree stumps sticking up into the bypass that is about 6" tall. The easiest way to access the trail is from FS 5314 on the west side of the trail. However, the trail can also be accessed from FS 6124 on the east side.

Trail is fairly narrow and starting to be slightly overgrown, I had to pull several vines and branches out of the way to avoid scratching the girlfriends brand new rig. (if I was in mine I wouldnt have cared)It was a bit muddy but the water holes seemed to have a pretty firm sandy.rocky bottom for the most part, the biggest water hole came up to the bottom of the rockers on a bronco with 35s

Access Description

The easiest way to access the trail is from FS 5314 on the west side of the trail. However, the trail can also be accessed from FS 6124 on the east side.
