Trail Overview

This trail is hard. Honestly surprised that the Forest Service considers this a motorcycle trail. It's more of a hiking trail that hasn't been used in years. The trail has severe overgrowth and many fallen trees. It begins at the Lucky Swede mine and climbs steadily uphill. There are plenty of tight sections which require the rider to dodge tree branches. Several loose and steep hill climbs with slippery roots are mixed in for good measure. The track ends at a shallow creek crossing where the hill climbs on the opposite side have eroded to the point of being un-rideable. Trailwork is the only thing that can bring this one back from the dead.

Difficulty

This trail has off-camber trail with loose, steep, rooted hill climbs and plant overgrowth. Without someone cleaning this up, it's only a few years away from extinction.
