Texas Traverse (Leg 4)

We ran the trail from Junction to Fredericksburg for about 75 miles. We did not do the full Leg 4. The trails were paved, gravel, rocky and dirt roads. We traversed some ranches where the gates were closed but you can open them and drive through and close them behind you. The On X app accurately mapped the route. We did it in a rainstorm so were able to see the water crossings - mostly big puddles on the trails which added to the fun factor. The dirt trails got a little boggy with the heavy rain, but nothing required 4x4. Water crossings were uneventful as there were some new bridges across the Lano River which made it easy. The scenery was fantastic. Check out the photos. Texas Hill Country is something to behold. You will enjoy this ride.
