Trail Overview
Garber is an easy ATV Trail near the north end of the Rampart Range Recreation Area. There are dirt trailheads at both the north and south entrances to the trail off of Rampart Range Road. From the south end, it steadily drops down to the intersection with Tomahawk (#685), then climbs back up towards the northern trailhead, also crossing Beaver (#688) on the way. Most of the trail is very easy with sweeping wide turns, banked corners, and some whoops as it meanders through the pine tree forest. The surface is pretty gravelly and sandy mixed in with the dirt. There are some deep troughed sections that could be more difficult for an ATV due to having to pick the high points of the trail. There is a somewhat steep hill that has cement pavers built in to help provide traction to riders. There is also a 0.6-mile cutoff trail near the southern end that is more direct to the trailhead.
