Trail Overview
21 Road South is a route providing further access to dispersed camping and OHV opportunities on BLM lands in the Fruita/Grand Junction area. The road is paved for little ways once on public lands before turning to a mostly flat, gravel road for approximately four miles. At mile four, the road vastly changes in the degree of difficulty as it enters into the Book Cliffs; you will also see signage alerting you of crossing private land. Continuing on this route would eventually yield access to the Northern portion of 21 Road, which is a very demanding off-road route. There are several trails to explore that branch off of this main route. Stick to only previously disturbed areas. Pack out what you pack in.
