Trail Overview

This route will have you traveling along a very well-kept logging road to the wonderful Klaklakama Lake. If you are adventuring with a trailer, the recreation site on the southern end of the lake (Upper Klaklakama Lake Recreation Site) has more open campsites with an easy turnaround, as well as a wonderful natural boat launch. If you're after a more "private" site to camp at, then you will want to use the site on the northern end of the lake (Lower Klaklakama Lake Recreation Site). It has 5 single campsites to pick from as well as a natural boat launch. Do some exploring around the lake and you will find an interactive trail through a massive old-growth forest with trees that have been around for hundreds of years.
