This road provides access to the Howser Lake Recreation Site. The road is easy and well-maintained. This is a pretty sweet recreation site on Duncan Lake. There are plenty of sites and outhouses. It's not wild camping, but it feels very secluded. The lake is beautiful and the scenery is quite amazing. It's a great stop if you are doing an overland trip.
