Trail Overview
Jamieson Creek is a mainline route that you enter just north of Kamloops BC. The road takes you to an unlimited number of lakes and recreation sites throughout the region. This route ends at the Whitewood Lake Recreational site where there are 4-5 camping spots just on the site of the road. The road is maintained year-round as it is kept open for fishing lodges and cabins on many of the above-mentioned lakes. The road does have some serious washboarding in sections so you need to either speed up to buzz over them or slow down and take your time. Worth the drive and is fairly easy for most vehicles including cars. Note: At present, it is an active logging road so there can be heavy traffic on this route also.
