Trail Overview
The Jamieson Forest Service Road is an old logging route that runs along the south side of Bonaparte Lake. The road is maintained year-round, including during winter. It serves as a primary access route for cabin dwellers on the lake. While there are some washboard sections along the route, overall, it is in excellent condition. Ongoing maintenance efforts will keep this road in good shape for the majority of the time. However, it's important to note that this area is prone to heavy rainfalls, which can suddenly alter the road conditions.
