Trail Overview

Trout Lake Main is a very well-maintained forest road that runs along Trout Lake in the Kootenays of British Columbia. This road is maintained due to the small towns along this road. It is designated as Route 31 but is gravel/dirt for 90% of it. The views of Trout Lake from the varying altitudes of the road make this a very enjoyable trip. if you are lucky enough to have a clear sky and find a spot to camp, you will see some epic sunsets!
