Trail Overview
Horseman's Trail is an easy seasonal road/trail. Located near the Allegan Dam, this route is easily accessible. This trail is easy with nothing technical. Most of the trail is comprised of dirt and weaves throughout the Allegan State Game Area. Along this trail, you'll find a couple of dispersed campsite locations. If you do use these sites, please tread lightly! Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is an awesome trail!
