Trail Overview

Infamous rugged trail between Mike's Sky Ranch and Rancho Coyote frequently used by moto, UTV, and 4x4 crowds. This trail includes the re-route around the washout that was used as part of the 2021 Baja 1000 race. This is a rugged rocky route that is in a drainage and will change from year to year with storm damage and usage. There are numerous rock challenges, areas with some exposure, and not many places to safely pass. Expect to do some rock stacking if the vehicle doesn't have a 3" lift and 35" tires. Travel goes in both directions. There are multiple ranch gates that need to be opened and closed after passing through. At one gate, a toll is collected (usually $10 USD per vehicle) to cross private land.
