Trail Overview
Loop Springs is a beautiful and difficult loop that starts and ends at Tow Strap and runs parallel to Rock and Roll. The middle is where the soft bottom springs are located; they can be full of silt but hard-packed. The start of the boulder-faced hill and the descent are both incredibly steep, with the downhill portion being nearly 100% slick clay. If this trail is attempted from the opposite direction, going through the springs first, the clay uphill section features exposed root faces that will create frustrations maneuvering with smaller tires. While the obstacles are not large, the altitude gain on the backside can be dangerous when wet.

Difficulty
The uphill rocky faces are in an off-camber situation, and depending on your line, can require up to 3 feet of ground clearance. The downhill portion is very loose erosion when dry.
History
This trail was named after the spring at the bottom middle of the loop.
