Woodpecker Lips

Trail Overview

Woodpecker Lips is an excellent trail that is well hidden inside the mountain and most pass right by the trail. Woodpecker Lips is also one of the few trails in the park that is one-way. It is designed to enter from Easy Street near V-Notch and exit near the beginning of Taxi Cab. Woodpecker Lips will also cross over and down Two High. This trail snakes through the mountainside horizontally, so most of it is designed to be an off-camber trail. With it being surrounded by trees and on the low side of the mountain, it removes the danger factor from this trail. Flex through the obstacles with low washout points and high-side boulders for a great wheeling experience. Most of the obstacles are harder to see with the thick layer of leaf litter, so don't sit this trail out!

Difficulty

Near the exit of the trail is a medium-sized boulder on the high side and a low point that holds water like a small koi pond. This section creates an off-camber obstacle of around 24 inches.
