Trail Overview
Caribou Ridge is an 8-mile round trip out and back ridge trail that runs parallel to the Ober Creek trail. The trailhead starts 600 yards into the Ober Creek trail and quickly rises and places you along the ridgeline looking down into the valley and the creek below. This trail is best run during early spring once the snow has melted but the ground is still frozen or towards the end of summer before hunting season starts as you will cross paths with herds of Caribou and Moose. Tight turns and aggressive inclines/declines along with trees right on the trail will cause some pinstriping and this trail is best run in a lifted 4x4 or ATV.

Difficulty
This trail is rated as a 4 because of the off-camber nature riders will find themselves in as well as several steep inclines requiring the use of 4 low in shoulder seasons.
