Buzzard's Rock (Huckleberry Pond) - Trail 96022B

Trail Overview

Very short trail out to the popular Buzzard's Rock overlook. The trail is accessible by OHV (ATV, UTV, MX) only and not legal for any other vehicle type. The trail goes past a very large campsite and pond called Huckleberry Pond. The trail can be very slimy and muddy during wet weather. There is a rock garden section, but it can be bypassed. Please stay on the trail as there are several illegal bypasses and side trails veering off the main (legal) path. There is a large parking area at the end of the trail for folks to exit their vehicles and hike out onto Buzzard's Rock.

Difficulty

This trail is very easy but can get slimy and slick during wet weather. There is a rock garden with 18" boulders but it can be bypassed. This is a very popular trail, so be cautious of oncoming traffic that may be unaware of approaching vehicles.
