Trail Overview
Gafford Creek 519 is perfect for the adventurer. The road starts out as an easy gravel road with rolling hills and scenic views through the vast amount of trees. Creek crossings are all over which are shallow but could overflow their banks after a long rainfall. Off-road trails are located right after you hit the main trail including hiking trail F91 which takes you to Main Mountain. I even spotted some mountain bikers on this route. Miller Creek is a fast-flowing creek big enough to catch some crawdads or maybe even a small fish. Camping is dispersed, and there are no restrooms or freshwater sources. There is cell phone service along this road at certain spots.

Difficulty
Just be mindful of the weather as creeks in this area rise very quickly and it could cause someone in a car to be stuck on one side of the trail and not be passable. There are pot holes, but this road is maintained by private contractors paid bt the forest service. You might see graders from time to time, especially after a storm.
