Trail Overview
This road leads to a really nice shooting range with cell phone service, restrooms, and a nice-sized parking lot. Gravel road with larger-sized rocks in several areas. Low-clearance vehicles (cars) are not recommended. There are no camping areas along this road but there is a beautiful view at the northern end of the road of the Ozark Mountains. Several 4x4 trails as well. Be mindful of where you plant your feet during the summer. We have the famous Cottonmouth and Rattlesnakes here. Cottonmouth will be found near water and the Rattlesnakes can be found sunning themselves near larger rocks. With over 60 species of plants grab your wildlife book and see how many you can find while exploring the ONF.
