Trail Overview

The Winona Auto Tour Scenic Drive is a 26-mile trail located in the Ouachita National Forest. The route travels along with Forest Road #132 between AR Highway 7 north of Jessieville and AR Highway 9 south of Perryville. There are several vistas along the route; Oak Mountain Vista, Forked Mountain Vista, Crystal Mountain, Lake Winona Vista, and North Fork Pinnacle. The route is generally traveled in a west-to-east direction.

Difficulty

The entire route is a maintained gravel road. The short trail up to Crystal Mountain can be a little bit rougher than the main route (technical rating 3).

Access Description

West End: From the Jessieville Ranger Office, head North on AR Hwy 7 for approx. 6.1 miles to FR#132 on your Right.East End: From Perryville, head South on AR Hwy9/10 for about 13.5 miles (3.2 miles South of Williams Junction) to FR#132 on your Right.
