Trail Overview
This out-and-back OHV trail is open to all types, from 4X4s down to dirt bikes. A small parking lot is at the beginning of the trail, right off the freeway. A displayed adventure pass is required. The trail itself offers a little bit of everything from rocky sections to ruts, puddle (water) crossings, and a handful of short, steep grades. Some of the puddles were deeper than others. The trail may become more challenging in wet/rainy conditions. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, with chances of spotting wildlife. The trail either continues to the Long Valley Loop or briefly down the hill to a locked gate, requiring you to return out the same way. The completion time varies depending on whether you do the Long Valley Loop or not.
