Trail Overview

Wind your way up this canyon that is primarily sand and small rocks. There are a few extra credit options that do have bypasses, except for one or two obstacles at the end. Anything other than a stock SUV can navigate this canyon. The elevation gain is noticeable in the flora once you exit the canyon at the end.

Difficulty

Most of the trail is easy except towards the end where there are one or two obstacles that can not be avoided. With good driving skills and a slightly upgraded SUV should be able to make it past this point.

The southwest side of this trail where it enters BLM land is somewhat difficult to navigate once you reach where the pavement has been eroded away. There is a trail but moments where the washout provides alternative routes that provide fun but can also dead end.

For the most part pretty easy trail. Some challenging areas on 2 spots with two rocks with elevation changes. My 2 door jeep had no problem. Fun trail!

Obstacles were a little bit harder for me being my first time with a stock 4x4 truck. Taking off side steps would have made it a lot easier. Toughest spot coordinates: 33.83300° N, 116.07346° W. All other hard spots you can go around. Would not recommend this being your first time off-roading especially without spotter or someone more experienced going with you.

Turn off Dillon Road onto to Berdoo Canyon Road.
