Berdoo Canyon

Choose your own adventure for 80% of the trail. Two or three spots deeper in the canyon that were a tight squeeze even for my Tacoma. No issues making our way through obstacles, just trying not to rock rash brand new wheels.

Did this route from J Tree to Dillon Rd in a DCLB Tacoma with stock suspension height on 33s and a 2-bike hitch rack. Our entire set up is quite long especially with the rack which kills the departure angle as well as makes our already wide turns wider. That being said, with good line choice you could very well do most of this trail on 2WD minus a few of the rockier sections, unless you want to get a little creative. Not once did the hitch, or anything other than tires touch or scrape rock on any mandatory lines. Again, line choice makes this relatively easy. The drive through the canyon isn’t the most interesting but it was still fun to do.
