Trail Overview
This trail is an alternative route to the Inyo Crater trailhead coming from the Dry Creek Spur Trail. It takes you through the pine forest. The surface is dirt but a very fine, dust consistency. There is a section where trees have been cut down for sale to lumber. There are a lot of side spurs so keep alert not to take a side spur.

Difficulty
The trail is fairly easy except for a section just before the Inyo Crater area. It has very deep ruts from water run-off as well as uneven sections. There are a few off-camber sections as well.
