Trail Overview
The West side of McGee Canyon drops down from the 8692-foot peak. It is a little more challenging than the nicely graded East side. There are more ruts from rain run-off. This trail drops 765 feet in less than two miles. Look for obsidian rocks on the trail that are shiny and sometimes sharp. The track snakes through pretty, tall pine trees and offers sneak views of mountain peaks.
