Trail Overview
From the Y in the trail, things immediately start to become interesting. There's a deep sandy rut to cross, followed by a fun, fast, loose hill climb into the bouldery areas. Once at the top, there's a 270deg view of pure awesomeness and a few bars of Verizon LTE if you need to call or download those offline maps. Be sure to watch for snakes, as there are plenty. Once at the top, the trail becomes relatively easy, with some narrow sections through the whoops (Can you say leg day), and the cholla cacti are close to the trail, just begging to catch a ride on your pants. As you crest the ridge, you're rewarded with an excellent view of rows of wind turbines cranking out their megawatts of juice.

Difficulty
This trail is single-track and has a very loose sandy hill climb and one very deep rut near the bottom to negotiate. Other than that it is relatively easy in the upper section with some Whoop rollers and easy corners.
