Trail Overview

Sugarloaf 4WD and Sugarloaf West combine to make a loop that starts and ends on Rock Creek Road. It's a fun trail with a few good obstacles. The trail is rough and sparsely maintained. Evidence shows that heavy equipment has been used to clear sections of the trail and changed the route significantly from the El Dorado National Forest Motor Vehicle Use Map. The trail geometry in this review starts with Sugarloaf 4WD, which changes to Sugarloaf West without any sign notification.
