Trail Overview
We ran the trail in both directions; however, running from South to North takes you up the bigger rocks and has you go down the more mellow side. The views from the top are amazing; just remember, if it's a windy day, there is nothing to slow the wind, so bring extra layers if you're in an open cab. There are many options to run this trail, making it tough for buggies and some bypasses for smaller rigs. The trail is always changing, so keep that in mind. We made it with a Toyota 4Runner with lockers and 37's and full exocage. When adventuring in Johnson Valley, make sure to pay attention to restricted military areas.
