Trail Overview
This is a secondary entrance to the Shirttail Canyon trail. This trail meanders down the canyon, surrounded by mossy trees and waterfalls during certain times of the year. If coming from the Foresthill side, this is a great day venture down to the river. You can even take it out to the other side, Highway 80. The trail is not difficult but it is narrow at times, so be careful--especially if in a wide rig!

Difficulty
The trail is not super difficult; it is mostly gravel roads that get narrow at some points. It does have some potholes and a bridge crossing that is a little rickety, but other than that, it's a fun and drive!
