This segment of the Trout Creek ATV trail is a 1.2-mile segment that connects Long Hollow to the Trout Creek Connection Trail (#649A) and Rampart Range Road. It meanders along a spine through a pine tree forest, going slightly uphill when riding south to north, on a pea-gravel surface. It goes along a mountain ridge, with a few smaller whoops, ruts, roots, and washouts on the side of the trail, but no big obstacles. It's troughed at times but is mostly just an easy connector trail.

Easy connector trail that runs along a creek. dozens of whoops and lots of pea gravel. some water on the trail but didn't affect the ride.
