Trail Overview
There is some good camping along this trail that takes you to upper Palmer Lake Reservoir. Unlicensed vehicles aren't permitted on the main routes, and there are very few side roads to explore. The top part of this trail is relatively easy, but as you drop down it becomes quite a bit more challenging.

Trail was very manageable until there were no more tracks to follow, I went about a mile past that point and had to winch out a couple times and turn around. If you have chains and a good rig I’d say it’s possible to make it all the way but wouldn’t recommend attempting without proper recovery gear.

Great beginner trail. Had no issues in my JTR. It’s narrow in spots, but there are many places to pass. Not many people on the trail. The reservoir at the end is beautiful!

Not a difficult trail, but very beautiful. It’s very cool pulling up to the back side of Palmer reservoir!
