Trail Overview
Trail 699 is a short ATV trail through the San Juan National Forest on a full-width oil well access road that has been repurposed into a trail for 50" vehicles. The south end is a continuation of the Lange Canyon trail on the access road. The north end of the trail stops at the gate to the oil well, next to private property. The wells are kind of interesting to see if you've never seen one before. You can hear them working as you ride past them. This trail just adds some mileage if you're riding Lange Canyon, but will have to be ridden as an out and back.
