Trail Overview

This trail to the top of Bristol Head Peak takes you to an elevation 12,713 feet with stunning 360-degree views. Along the way, there are a few meadows with beautiful views. When you come to the large rock with mileage painted on it, there are 6 miles to go to the peak. No cell service along the way, but you may get some at the peak. The first 9 miles of the trail are easy, but at the fork, both trails become more difficult.

Rough rocky trail after a few miles in. Water crossing wasn’t bad bit the weather has been pretty good. Some bigger rocks towards the top. Great views at the top during September when the aspens are changing color

Fairly easy bumpy road if it’s not raining. Slow accend and decent top area. Amazing views above the clouds. The clouds came up through the mountains at one point. Was really cool.
