Trail Overview
East Unaweep is a super fun flowy trail on the Uncompahgre Plateau. It can be accessed via Little Bear Lake Trail or Basin Trail. The trail is uphill when ridden from East to West. The Eastern 3/4 of the trail is flowy through green and lush vegetation without any technical features. It can be hard to see the trail at times through the thick shrubs. The Western 1/4 becomes more rocky and there are 2 short technical sections. This is one of the easier trails on the Uncompahgre and can be easily tied into the more challenging Big Creek Scout and Snowshoe trails.
