Trail Overview

Enchanted Forest is a short but scenic and easy trail through Hartman Rocks that goes through an aspen grove that is really pretty in fall when the leaves change color. They are tall skinny aspen trees, mixed with pine trees, and it feels enchanted after riding in so much dry sagebrush through the rest of the recreation area. The trail itself is very easy, being a skinny dirt trail with hardly any rocks. It has gradual grades as it meanders the hillsides, a few whoops and dips into ravines, but it stays very easy. It crosses a parking area and keeps going into another small patch of trees, followed by more sagebrush paralleling a ravine, and under some powerlines. The south end ends on Powerline Road. This trail goes through a patch of private land, so make sure you stay on the trail.
