Trail Overview

This is an easy trail through a dirt bike area with many campsites. Excellent views of Keystone Ski Area and valley area. The trailhead is a bit deceptive since it runs past the town landfill and shooting range but quickly changes to a pleasant drive through pines and aspens. There are lots of single-track trails crossing this trail as well as plenty of established campsites off the trail to keep dust and noise to a minimum. Most overlanding rigs can access this area with moderate clearance. The trail has numerous water diversion berms that could hamper longer-wheelbase vehicles. Expect to see some stunning fall colors during the fall aspen leaf season.
