Trail Overview

Headache Road is an out-and-back trail that runs off of the east side of Miller Rock Road trail. Contrary to the name it shouldn't cause too many headaches. The trail primarily consists of dirt and gravel with a few rocks to crawl over. It is mostly forested with some areas of tight trees that could be tricky for full-size trucks and SUVs to navigate, but with patience and careful driving can make it. There are a few short steep climbs. The trail dead ends at a barrier with room on the sides that allows for an easy turnaround.

Didn’t make it to the trail head, it’s a narrow loose offcamber shelf road that is very very icy right now, made it to where the group before us stopped, a steep offcamber hill covered in a sheet of ice and like 6-8” of snow. Couldn’t get enough traction to safely make it up.
