Trail Overview
Middle Razor starts in a sagebrush valley below pine-covered hillsides. It's a wider single track with a bit of loose rock. It curves around the hillside and enters the trees, and the trail gets significantly harder right away with lots of rocks and roots. The first steep climb is pretty tricky with big embedded boulders, ruts, and roots, and a tight switchback with a big boulder on the inside of the corner. The climb mellows out, but there are still big roots and rocks in the trail as it rides along the mountain top. It descends back down the other side of the mountain, overlooking a beautiful valley and meadow. It parallels along a creek in the valley on an easier and smoother trail. There's a big mud puddle crossing near the east end before it turns into a wide road. This makes a really nice intermediate loop with the North Gulch, Middle Barrett, and Right-Hand singletracks. Watch out for bears and moose!

Difficulty
This is an intermediate single track due to a technical steep climb with big rocks, roots, and ruts that would be a bit of a challenge for the average rider.
