Trail Overview
This is an easy 50" trail through the Gunnison National Forest. The south end starts off of the Razor Creek ATV trail through wide open sagebrush valleys next to a beautiful grove of aspens. There are some water and mud puddles on the trail in the beginning, and it starts climbing up the hillside. The trail is pretty smooth and wide, with only a bit of loose rock, but has a bunch of big rollers that you need to check up for when you enter the trees. It has some tight turns through the pine trees, which very closely line the trail, and goes through a gate. After the first mile, it starts to steeply descend through the pines and gets a bit more rutted out at the bottom of the descent. The north end ends in another beautiful meadow surrounded by aspens. Overall it's a pretty easy trail and a fun ride through some beautiful mountain terrain.
